This joint report by Refugee Action and NACCOM demonstrates how vulnerable people refused asylum in the UK are being failed by the government's asylum support system, with decision times taking up to seven times longer than recommended in government guidelines.
This is a follow up to the original Mind The Gap report published one year earlier. The findings indicate that newly granted refugees are still being made homeless when they have to leave their asylum accommodation.
The Refugee Resource Centre for Churches (R2C2) was set up partly at the request of many of the Christian groups working with refugees in Britain today, who pointed out a gap in bringing together all of the expertise and experience of those across the country involved in this vital work.
R2C2 is a partnership between Jubilee+ and the Boaz Trust, combining the infrastructure of the former with the expertise in refugee issues of the latter.
